Arizona Wood Crafts is a one man work shop, attached to my home, here in Sedona, Arizona. My feature items are wood cutting boards highlighted with turquoise inlay work. I primarily work with Mesquite Wood for all my cutting boards & utensils, but do use other hardwoods, Black Walnut, Maple & Cherry. The turquoise used comes from the famous Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Mine, near Globe, Arizona. I consider my work to be "Functional Works of Art", in that I strive to embody every cutting board I make with a sense of beauty and individuality that would promote one's desire to display & "show-off" their unique, one of a kind, wood cutting board. Among my list of more poplar handmade cutting boards you will find selections of; wood cheese boards, end grain cutting boards & round wooden cutting boards. Larger, kitchen sized cutting boards are also very poplar. I do sell my cutting boards through a few retail gift shops, but the majority of my sales are via this web site, which I much prefer, because I feel that dealing directly with the artist, gives you, the customer, the best possible service and pricing. I don't have to build into my retails the extra expenses incurred by your upscale art galleries and gift shops.
