Quality, One of a Kind, Wooden Gift Items: Turquoise Inlay Custom Cutting Boards & Wood Kitchen Utensils: Children's Non-Toxic Wooden Toys & Custom Wood Barrettes.
My handmade wood cutting boards & wood kitchen utensils combine functionality with design & art. Created out of only hardwoods; Black Walnut, Cherry, Maple & Mesquite, each item is hand carved, following grain patterns and spalted areas, to allow for a turquoise inlay to be added. Some of my more poplar styles of cutting boards are the; round wood cutting boards, small wine & wood cheese cutting boards and the medium sized kitchen cutting board. Some of my handcrafted wood kitchen utensils are; cheese knives, cheese planers, salad/pasta serving forks, bread knives and spreaders, all featuring stainless steel blades and turquoise inlay.My wooden toys are all eco-friendly, safe & non-toxic. My concern over making quality toys is, in part, motivated by my desire to not make any toy that I would not want my grand kids to play with. A third line of handmade, one of a kind, unique wooden gifts I make are my Wood Barrettes. Each one is a piece of wearable art and something you won't find any where else. Each hair clip and ponytail holder is made out of local Arizona Mesquite and Manzanita woods and each is also inlaid with turquoise. On occasion, I will come up with something using burl woods and an exotic wood or two.
